ATP Synthesis

ATP synthesis is the process by which cells generate adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary energy currency of the cell. This process mainly occurs in the mitochondria of eukaryotic cells during cellular respiration and in the chloroplasts of plant cells during photosynthesis.
